You, your weapon, and the most terrible monsters.

Unvanquished is a futuristic FPS, totally free, and quite surprising, especially because it doesn't occupy too advantageous a position in the list of known first-person shooter games. It's quite possible you haven't heard the name Unvanquished before, but if you give it a try, you can end up getting hooked by their network.

As in any shooter game, during the Unvanquished games you'll be alone with your gun moving through dimly lit corridors, where you'll fight terrible monsters. That's if you don't decide to play in the team of monsters, of course, because Unvanquished gives you the choice of team.

But beyond the thematic approach in Unvanquished, and a gameplay similar to other FPS, the graphics are the highlight of this action game. They come from the good work and imagination of the artistic team responsible for Unvanquished, which has resulted in an addictive science fiction game, very well done, and as it's free it deserves the tag of "recommended".
